Director of Customer Discovery

LUFTCAR -- DIRECTOR OF CUSTOMER DISCOVERY
LuftCar is an advanced air mobility startup based in the Orlando metro area in Florida. The company was newly founded by a visionary leader in CleanTech transportation technologies. Our immediate goal is to raise pre-seed funding for Phase 1 development of the LuftCar vehicle.. We are looking for a strong leader with existing relevant investor relationships to lead fundraising efforts.

Job Overview
  1. The successful candidate will possess an excellent grasp of:
  2. Urban air mobility and eVTOL, aviation, cargo distribution, medical transport and clean energy markets
  3. Financial concepts, business concepts, startup fundraising strategies, communication and interpersonal skills
  4. The ability to identify customers, develop and preserve customer relations across multiple market segments. 
  5. Relationships between departments of transportation, aviation, energy, airport authorities, smart cities

Upon selection, the candidate will be expected to sign an NDA and a Non Compete Agreement for three years.

Job Location: Orlando FL. This position can be remote.
Responsibilities
  • Identify customers in multiple market segments that LuftCar is targeting.
  • Work with / guide with leadership to develop customer messaging and conversation.
  • Create innovative value propositions for LuftCar by developing partnerships across multiple customer segments.
  • Proactively identify corporate partners for early stage and pre-seed startup in urban air mobility space
  • Conduct interviews and surveys as necessary.
  • Acquire / document letters of interest, expressions of interest at rapid pace
  • Identify, organize and facilitate customer events
  • Investigate customer interests and priorities
  • Expand customer relationships, with strategic and long term focus.

​Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Strategy, Marketing, Business, or related field required
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of business experience required; 4+ years in customer relations is desired.
  • Unmitigated passion for advanced air mobility and clean tech.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills positions
  • Strong business leadership skills and adaptability to changing business priorities.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous, white-space, fast-paced environments

Compensation: Equity and % commission.
